My Kaleidoscopes

I was educated and worked as a speech pathologist for over thirty years. About ten years into that career, I encountered a handmade kaleidoscope; and I was hooked! It took about an hour to determine how to construct a basic three-mirror kaleidoscope. From there it took about a week to assemble the specialized tools I needed to fabricate a "FlowerScope." Once I had the steps for this scope mastered, it was just a skip and a jump to designing different types of kaleidoscopes with different shapes, different mirror configurations, and different objects in the viewing chamber.

At the present time, I construct approximately twenty various kaleidoscopes. Not all are in production at the same time, but special orders are usually accepted for almost any of the 'scopes I have made.

My Kaleidoscopes have won numerous "Best in Show" awards at Gallery on the Green in Walters, OK; several First Place ribbons at the Texas Oklahoma State Fair in Wichita Falls, TX, and various others awards through the years.

I currently sell directly to Slumgullion Gift Gallery in Lake City, CO  and  Two Old Crows Gallery and Gifts in Pagosa Springs, CO. I also participate in craft shows in Lake City, CO,  Wichita Falls, TX,  and  Lawton, OK.
